Scarborough Restaurants Reviewed : The Scarborough Tandoori

If you’re in the Scarborough area and looking for the best Scarborough restaurants to eat out why not try the delicious Indian cuisine of the Scarborough Tandoori.

Scarborough Tandoori Restaurant is the longest established Indian in the town and is renowned locally as a hub for delicious Indian cuisine and exceptional service.

If you’re looking for a night out its perfect, book a table eat some exceptional Indian food then located next to the restaurant is the Scarborough Opera House Casino where you can put on a few drinks and a few bets.

The Tandoori serves a variety of quality food, in a restaurant that is both stylish and traditional. Here are a few pointers on what dish to pick.

For your starter there’s your usual poppadoms with a variety of authentic sauces and a great selection of Indian starters. My personal tip would be to try the Traditional Mixed Kebab a selection of meats including chicken, shish and lamb, it’s ideal as it doesn’t leave you too full for your main.

You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to a main course at the Tandoori. They have plenty of dishes from Fish Specials, Tikka Masala’s and Tandoori Specials, my tip if you’re not the biggest lover of curry is the Chicken Tikka Masala it’s mild but tastes great. If you’re willing to give anything a try I would also recommend the Special Murgh Masala a mince dish with a gorgeous thick sauce authentic and tasty.

There are of course your usual sides such as Pilau rice or chips and a great selection of various Nan breads. They do deserts but I guarantee you’ll be too full by then and if your not then good luck!

The Scarborough Tandoori is definitely one of the best Scarborough Restaurants around, delightful food and exceptional service and not too expensive.
